Max's Big Ride 2017
The third annual Max's Big Ride began in Hamilton on Sunday, June 4th with the inaugural Ice Cream Ride and continued for 8 more days, finishing their 600 km ride on Monday, June 12 on the steps of Parliament Hill in Ottawa.
Along their route Max and Andrew were often joined on their cargo bike by little sister Isla. She was a keen participant in the ride - always pointing to her helmet and the bike to indicate she wanted to come along.
2017 marked the beginning of a special relationship with the internationally-recognized Gunning Group Lab at the University of Toronto Mississauga with all money raised going to the establishment of a graduate fellowship in this lab to help find a cure for Duchenne.
Thanks to our generous donors and participants we raised over $36,000 in the summer of 2017.
